Loula began painting during the first lockdown in 2020 to help her mental health suffering with anxiety, depression and PTSD and to cope with limited mobility due to fibro and various other physical issues.
She mainly paints with acrylics on canvas but also dabbles with water colours digital art and also enjoys sculpting.
Art is Loula’s love, her escape and a great source of mindfulness. Not only does she sell original paintings but also limited edition prints. She creates fan art due to her enjoyment of movies and TV shows. Loula loves painting women as Goddesses to show how beautiful different body types are in the hopes of empowering women and she also creates fantasy paintings which really allows her imagination to fly.
